Built: 1871
History: Bought in 1892 from J. Batey & Son of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Was sold three more times before being broken up in 1909.

Eppleton Hall
Type: Iron Paddle
Built: 1914
History: Built in 1914 by the Hepple company, South Shields for Lambton and Hetton Collieries. Bought by France, Fenwick Tyne & Wear and used until around the mid-1950's before being sold to Seaham Harbour Dock Co. Sent to Clayton and Davie breakers' yard in 1967 but rescued in a partially-dismantled state in 1969. Restored and sailed to San Francisco Maritime Museum in March 1970, where it now remains as one of only two surviving British-built paddle tugs.

History: Launched in 1876 at John Readhead's yard, South Shields. President operated on the Tyne and the Wear for 69 years from 1891 until 1959.
